TELLING OUR STORIES’ volunteers partnered with HONITON LIBRARY on Cultural Diversity Day this week to celebrate the richness of the world’s cultures and the power of inter-cultural dialogue by sharing a selection of adult and children’s books.
As keepers (and lenders) of stories, libraries are community spaces where everyone and anyone can meet and diverse points of view can be shared – the perfect partner for our project!
The collection will be displayed on an ongoing basis. If you would like to read or borrow some of these wonderful books, or want to find out how the TELLING OUR STORIES project in Honiton is encouraging inter-cultural dialogue at community level, come along and meet Jess Huffman at the library every Wednesday morning or contact her on jesstosfor@gmail.com
