Khaled is Syrian, and 15 years old. He came to Bideford with his family about 3 years ago. Khaled was keen to share his experiences of living here because he and his family now feel safe and enjoy living in Bideford. An important tradition for Khaled and his wider family is to get together every weekend. These are enjoyable occasions which provide support – and feature plenty of food!
Of his plans for the future, Khaled says:
“If I get bigger like I’m gonna like move house, like just travelling. Like go just travel and like see everything and come back. Yeah.”
